TELECOMMUNICATION

Telecommunication is the exchange of information over significant distances by electronic means. A complete, single telecommunications circuit consists of two stations, each equipped with a transmitter and a receiver.

In Electric Substation, the term Power Line Communication (PLC) or Power Line Carrier Communication (PLCC) is used which is a communication technology that enables sending data over existing power lines/cables. Power-line carrier communication (PLCC) is mainly used for telecommunication, tele-protection and tele-monitoring between electrical substations through power lines at high voltages, such as 132 kV, 220 kV, 500 kV.

Alpine Enterprises have an ability to facilitate its clients for all telecommunication disciplines used for Electric Substations including Substation Automation System (SAS), PLC/PLCC, and SCADA with sound expertise and experience of our engineers and associates in the field.

Our main projects are:

• Contract No. CH-001; Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Plant, Equipment and Associated Civil Works for 220/132 kV New Chishtian Substation & 220 kV Vehari Substation Extension Project (Package-1).
• Contract No. SHK-001 (Package-I) for 500/220 kV Shikarpur Substation and Allied Transmission Lines Project on Turnkey Basis for Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Plant for Upgradation of the Existing 220 kV Shikarpur Substation to 500 kV Level.
